Healing your
New Tattoo
Leave your second skin on for 3 days. You can shower with it on but no baths, swimming, or hot tubs.

At the end of the 3 days remove your second skin under running water. It helps to break up the adhesive if you stretch it while peeling it off.

Gently wash your tattoo with unscented antibacterial soap. Gently pat the tattoo dry.
​
Apply a thin layer of a tattoo aftercare product or an unscented lotion.
Reapply aftercare product or unscented lotion whenever the tattoo is feeling tight or dry.
​
Your tattoo will be fully healed in 2-4 weeks.
​
While healing avoid sunlight, tanning, baths, swimming, and hot tubs.

The Healing Process

Not only is Toad and Turnip another small queer owned business, but it was born right here in Westland! Their products are all-natural and the ingredients are locally sourced.
